《Teaching That Changes Lives》
当然,再好的理论也需要实践和应用,正如作者所说 “ Practice whenever you become aware of those early Judger signals”.
Mindset Choice Map 重点:
Mindset Choice Map—Key points:
The term Mindset represents the set of beliefs and assumptions we hold about ourselves, others, and the world.
Being human, we’re constantly shifting back and forth between Learner and Judger mindsets, hardly aware we’re doing it. Nor do we realise that we have any control over choosing our mindsets, about which one is to be in charge.
Either you have your mind-set or your mindset has you!
Listening with learner ears and ask good questions “What needs to happen so everyone can win”?
Choice Map Tool: The Five Questions
1. What do I want—for both myself and others?
2. Am I in Learner mindset or Judger mindset right now?
3. Am I listening with Learner ears or Judger ears?
4. What assumptions am I making?
5. Who do I choose to be in this moment?
Choice Map Tool: ABCD choice process—Aware, Breathe, Curiosity, Decide
1. Aware:
Ask yourself, Am I in Judger?
2. Breathe:
Breathing, full breathing, step back to gain perspective.
3. Curiosity:
What’s really upsetting/happening here? And why is that person’s behaviour pushing my buttons? (Ask genuine questions in a calm and neutral way.)
4. Decide:
Who do I choose to be in this moment? What do I choose to do?
